IMG_2203.JPG bwMy name is Joel. I was born and raised in Manchester England and have recently moved to Northern Virginia. I love to travel, explore the outdoors, meet new people and have first hand experience of different cultures. I have recently found a keen interest in photography which motivates what I love doing.

It amazes me how much of the world we take for granted. I constantly have the urge to explore new things and see what the world has to truly offer. Walking out the front door is free, but finding that picturesque place is the challenge. I will always be a curious person which encourages me to continue my search. You never know what surprises may be around the corner.

  4. Hi Joel
photography, huh? Hobby for some, earner for the good & lucky, source of endless frustrations for others. Ima nother. There seems to be only one reliable rule in the game:

“Get out there, and shoot heaps~!”

    And now to explore …

  7. Dear Joel, thank-you for visiting my blog and for the follow. I have enjoyed looking at your fabulous photos this evening; it was good to look at your shots of the Peaks and the Lake District. My husband grew up in Manchester and we visit his family there very often and holiday in the Peaks and Lakes. It must be exciting and just a little daunting to be starting a new life in the US – I wish you loads of luck. I will be back again to see how you are getting on ๐Ÿ™‚
